Psalm 50:9-12 - 'I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.'

This is always a reminder to me when I am uncertain about things that are going to happen. Everything on this universe belongs to God, not only physical items (clothes, money, etc) or spiritual gifts, but also emotional items such as RELATIONSHIPS between us and our family or friends. We always thank God for this family/sisters/brothers/friends when things are well, but how many times do we thank God for his blessing of the relationship when things do not work out. We asked God to solve the conflicts or misunderstanding, but yet it is so hard to say, “God, this relationship belongs to you, you gave it to me as a blessing and if you want to take it away, then take it because it belongs to you. I surrender it to You.” Often, we only see that physical person as someone that belongs to God, but we forgotten even the relationship is a blessing from God.

To me, to surrender relationship (which a lot of times means a lot to me) to God is not ‘not-easy’; it is VERY difficult, because emotions are something that is very hard to control. However, through the past month, I am learning to surrender it and at the point when I said I surrendered it to God and asked God to guide me through, freedom and peace come into my heart, I no longer worry and believing that God will work all things well for me. if God say ‘this is not for you’, then He definitely has something for interesting in store for you. This journey is not easy at all, really. But as you progress to take a small step to LEARN to surrender each day, God will take the small step together with you.
