Couple of months ago, my handphone was stolen at sengkang. Liangming and the cell should know how sian I was. Just to show you the extent, I must have called 300 times to that number and combed all the possible places. I almost went into a state of apoplexy. Over the next several days, I called the number whenever I think there’s a suspicious person who could have taken my phone. So that I can say: ‘ah ha! You were the one who stole my phone’ when I hear my ringtone.

Er hem, as I was sayin…

So I prayed fervently everyday. And God taught me in the rudiments thereof.

I have faith in God, that He will find the phone for me. But after weeks ambled past me, I felt that maybe God wants to bless the person who has my phone. Yes, the uncompromising lineaments of mingchin. Losing faith so soon. I believe that if its God’s will, I will lose my handphone, but by His will, I can also find my handphone.

God has also taught me to forgive the person who stole my handphone-from my bag somemore.

I also gave thanks to God about that incident. Because God wants us to give thanks for both the good things and the bad. I gave thanks that it was my old phone that was stolen, not the new one, which was also in the bag!

Bet you thought that was all. Yesterday, I received a phone call from my old number. I was a little surprised. Later, im goin to amk to get my handphone back. An auntie with a relatively benign voice (hope she’s not expecting a reward) chanced upon my phone. Apparently, she read the message I had kindly sent to that number and contacted me. She found the handphone somewhere in serrangoon north-where I ve not been for years or at all. I assume that the person who took my phone must have dropped it there.

Indeed, God works in ways we cannot see. Having your phone being stolen = zero chance of getting it back. But God can make the person lose it and let the phone be returned to you. And He is always on time to do that. like how He chose the point where i ve already given up hope, or the time for me to do devotion.

Glory to God
