Words have power.

What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.'

Sometimes, we're unaware of those words that come out from our mouth would hurt someone so deeply and really make an impact on that person. And how true this verse is. Definitely, not what we eat that makes us unclean. but what come out from our mouth.

and when i was reading this verse a few days ago, the lord brought me back to the question when i first saw this verse. Have i been unclean? have i been letting unwholesome talks coming out from my mouth. Have those words that seems so insignificant to me hurt someone?

and maybe it's time to ask yourself the very same question too. Even before you speak , just ponder whether those words that will be coming out from your mouth affect someone, or will it spoil the relationship with that person.

after all, it's not about looking at the pictures and saying your own stories. It's about looking from both perspective before jumping into conclusion. things may not be like what you see. you can never judge a book by its cover.

Be blessed,
chuanlian
