I'm currently having my holidays and thus happen to watch "I not stupid 2". The show spoke a lot to me. I've attached a segment of the show which spoke to me most. It's also the most touching part of the show i believe. For those who have watched this show, i hope this entry of mine will speak to you too.

Seeing the problems that teenagers face and also the attention the youths try to get from the world is very hurtful. I thank God that though both my parents are working, i still do get much attention from them. And I'm glad to say that I've a heavenly father who never fails to give me the attention i need.

If getting your parents to pay attention to you is so difficult then do you know how hard the Lord tries to get our attention? Sometimes we neglect Him due to our studies, our friends, our outing/dates/appointments with many people. All the Lord desires is a fraction of our time. He asks "My child can we talk?" our reply is often "I'll talk to you later Lord." And by the time He questions again...we'll answer, " Lord let's talk tomorrow." Eventually tomorrow never comes...How long have we been living our lives like that? Has it been a while since you chatted with your Father in Heaven?

Isa 66:4 Because, when I called, no one answered, when I spoke they did not hear; but they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight."
Hear the voice of our Lord.

Mark 15:37-39 Jesus gave a loud cry and breathed his last. The veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. When the centurion who stood facing him saw how he breathed his last he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"

When the veil of the temple was torn, God's presence left that Holy Sanctuary and the Holy Spirit entered it's new dwelling place- our hearts. The Lord long to have that intimacy with us so much that He came to dwell in us.

During the part of the show when Tom's parents read his blog and found out how wrong they were about them...It show how much a small compliment will mean to a child/youth. Are we holding back our thanksgiving? The Lord has given so much to us, it's time we gave Him all the glory, give thanks to the Lord for all the small things He has done. It's good to remember that the Lord has provided for us. At times when we forget to give thanks to Him, His heart hurts because when we forget to give thanks, we have simply forgot His existence.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The verse that speaks it all. I pray that the Lord will speak to you daily...Amen. May the Lord bless you and your heart!

Love,
Lisa ^_^
