Strongholds
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philsophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
Colossians 2:8

What comes across your mind when you hear someone talk about the Bermuda Triangle or otherwise the Devil's Triangle? Mysterious disappearance? Alien abductions? Well it is said that many have been reported lost and never heard from again since last known to be travelling towards the Bermuda Triangle.

Fearful, confusion, disbelieve?

You know what...there is another, more dangerous Devil's Triangle that remains a threat to every single one of us. It is a Devil's Triangle that causes more Christians to bail out and to
mysteriously disappear than any part of the world's geography. And unfortunately, this isn't a myth nor something to scare little three year olds with.
What I am referring to is the three things which we are warned of with grave care and concern.

Do Not Love the World
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the
world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives
forever.
1John2:15-17

This triangle I mentioned is of this world's persuasion to have you join in its ways. With three key coordinates, "the lust of eyes, the lust of flesh, and the pride of life.", these completes the Devil's Triangle.

The lust of the eyes is the desire to have all that the world offers. The lust of the flesh is the desire to do what the world does. And the pride of life is the desire for the world's approval
rather than the approval of God.

As the scripture warned us: "If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him...The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever." Don't be caught in the Devil's Triangle! Part of the Devil's Triangle in our lives are the strongholds we've built to cope with day-to-day and life's traumas. Even in our normal days in life, strongholds are
erected to help us cope with things to go through each day. This jolly well manipulates one's pattern of thinking.

Are you allowing God to breakdown the stronghlds and have His love to flow freely toward you? Or are you willingly building strongholds against Him? Ask of the Holy Spirit's work to be within you and destroy every stronghold that remains standing.

LIVE FOR GOD
