I really hoped that Sunday's sermon on the power of God's Word has spoken toy ou much.. anyway jus wanted to share smth that the Lord has blessed me with.. erm ya.

For my bday this wk, one of my pri sch fren who reunited with me in Vj gave me this bday present. she's a Christian too, and as u would guess.. the gift was Christian in nature. it's basically a "scroll" with some verses and stuff..but the Lord revealed to me today that that scroll was more than a present, it was a daily reminder of who i really am.. when the Lord reminded me about this present on the way home from Expo, i was so excited to share this with u all.here goes..

YOU SAY. GOD SAYS
God's Promises to live by..

You say: "It's impossible"
God says: "All things are possible" (Luke 18:27)

You say: "i'm too tired"
God says: "I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28-30)

You say: "Nobody really loves me"
God says: "I love you" (John 3:16 & 3:34)

You say: "i can't go on"
God says: "My grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9) & Psalm 92:15)

You say: "i can't figure things out"
God says: "I will direct your steps" (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You say: "i can't do it"
God says: "You can do all things" (Philippians 4:13)

You say: "i'm not able"
God says: "I am able" (2 Corinthians 9:8)

You say: "it's not worth it"
God says: It will be worth it" (Romans 8:28)

You say: "i can't forgive myself"
God says: "I forgive you" (1 John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

You say: "i can't manage"
God says: "I will supply all your needs" (Philippians 4:19)

You say: "I'm afraid"
God says: "I have not given you a spirit of fear" (2 Timothy 1:7)

You say: "i'm always worried and frustrated"
God says: "Cast all your cares on ME" (1 Peter 5:7)

You say: "i'm not smart enough"
God says: "I give you wisdom" (1 Corinthians 1:30)

You say: "i feel all alone"
God says: "I will never leave you or forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5)

You say: "i'm useless"
God says: "You are fearfully and wonderfully made"

the devil will hit us everyday.. esp through our minds. that quiet voice that seems to discourages us, bring us down, affect our emotions, make us feel pathetic. yup that's the devil. if any of the "You say" applies to you, i pray that u'll proclaim what "God says", proclaim the Word of God. it's the sword. it's alive when we proclaim and believe in it. the devil can only run..i pray that as the season of "Going Deep" comes to a close, that u will understd the importance of anchoring ourselves in the Word of God. no one can stress the importance of it. i pray that the Lord will speak to u each and everytime we seek Him. may His Word bring that revelation to each and every one of u. amen.
