I remembered myself as a wild girl during my secondary school days. And when I say wild, I mean wild. Besides having spurts of craziness at times (I think I still do now), I was just, wild, untamed? (In terms of what I dared to do then)

That was before I knew Christ.

I went out with my secondary school friends today, and on hearing some of their so-called life stories, it just got me thinking how blessed I am to know Him. I was reflecting and God left this quote in my mind:

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Indeed the new has come! You know our God is just so, wonderful, merciful, faithful and everything nice! I’m sure everyone else agrees with me. Especially for those 2nd generation (meaning: those not born into a Christian family), think about how your life was before and after Christ, there’s a stark difference I’m sure.

Also God showed me this today when I was really frustrated at work

Romans 13:8
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

I think this pretty much ties in with my previous quote. You see one we have new life in Christ, we wear/carry His word like our belt of truth. One of the commandments is to Love. And as Christians, I think whenever we really really buay tahan somebody/something in work or at school, we will always fall back to this commandment: to love. Romans 13:8 was the verse shown to me when I was very agitated at work today.

Just recently, the news reported about the Christian teacher who molested his students, and honestly I was quite, appalled. Fellow brothers and sisters! Let us not fall into the trap of the devil and to constantly remind ourselves that we are a new creation for God and that we should always carry the belt of truth with us. Live for God! Amen to that!
