Dear family,

My most recent posting was on the revelation I received during the G12 conference, as the nations gathered to give "worth-ship" to our God, who is worthy of our worship. We talked about worship coming from the root word, worth. I thought it is apt and timely, that I share a list of verses and scriptures, the very word of God, on the different postures of worship. Worship is never meant to be rigid and definately never meant to be boring. In fact, there are so many postures of worship that we, as worshippers, need to be aware of. Have you worship Him today?

Postures of Worship/Praise/Prayers:

1) Stand with hands scretch (2 Chron 6:12-17, Psalms 28:2, 1 Tim 2:8)
2) Kneel (Ezra 9:5)
3) Bow down (Psalms 95:6)
4) Stand and pray (Gen 18:22)
5) Postration (Joshua 5:14, 1 Chron 29:20
6) Dance (Psalms 149:3, Exodus 15:20)
7) Singing (Psalms 149:1)
8) Giving and Offering (Malachi 3:10)
9) Listening (Luke 10:39)
10) Making peace with others (Matt 5:23-24)
11) Waiting (Psalms 62:6)
12) Resting (Psalms 37:7)
