"So I say live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want."
Galations 5: 16-17

This was what joce (my dearest niang) shared with us for word during cellgroup. The rest of the chapter talks about the sinful nature we must not follow and the fruit of the Spirit, of which we should move towards and pray for.

Now why do we have to live by the Spirit other than for that fact that it brings us closer to God?

It makes us a living testimony for all to see! When others see how much God has changed our lives, making us conquerors and victorians, they would wantto know what or rather, who has even brought this change in our lives!

As joce reminded us with a song, " We're gonna shout out loud, it's time to let it out. IT'S YOUR LIFE IN ME FOR ALL TO SEE!"

So let's work towards desiring to have the fruits of the Spirit and be a living testimony and a walking advertisement for Christ! :)
