A lesson learnt many times

This must be the longest time i have been on MC other than having chicken pox.. One week!!! And it has been one week of stomach flu, one week of discomfort and 'torture', running to the toilet and having stomach cramps (sisters, now i understand!). ouch! Really terrible man.

It couldnt have come at a more inconvinient time. First, tues was my clinical supervision with my supervisor who is a psychologist. And having to cancel the appointment with him last min.. on the actual day... is a very bad thing. And it was the 2nd time! Haiz... better say sorry the next time i see him.

Second was that yesterday was my final presentation for the MOE counselling course that i am on. And the bad thing was that we have not met together as a group since b4 CNY. To cut the whole story short, we were unable to meet together as a group and only managed to meet an hour b4 the presentation to run thru things. On that morning a dear fren smsed me a devotion in the morning, It was about how the Holy Spirit desires to have fellowship with us. I jokingly replied that in the physical state that i am in, i REALLY need the HS to be with me during the presentation.

And He was! The whole morning my stomach did not give me any problems and i was able to be lead the group clearly on how to steer the presentation and who to do what. It was a great presentation! We were all relaxed, having fun and everyone was engaged. The best part was during the Q&A. The examiners (there were 3) started to ask questions. The HS guided me to be able to answer all the questions beautifully. One of the examiners even commented on how she loved the way i answered her question. It was not me! It was the HS! Coz let truth be told i did not even understood her question totally! haha! And after the presentation during tea break my course mates also commented on how well i answered all the questions. And the Q&A actually was as long as the whole presentation! Wonder how i managed to tahan so long. Thanks be to God! Coz i know even when i am feeling 100% physically i would not have been able to answer those questions in this manner.

'When we come to the end of ourselves, that's when God can begin'.

We have heard this a million times but how difficult it is to relinquish control to God. But when we do, we always find that things turn out much much better than what we expected. What are u waiting for? Let God take control! :)

Sick but still fighting on.....
