It’s A Family Thing.

I just attended the LJL retreat last week. The theme was LOVE & UNITY. The sessions really spoke deep into me and they were great!

As we are together in this big family, we should love one another and stand firm and strong together, as we grow in Love & Unity in the body of Christ.

UNITY: In order to be united, we must not let sin come into us. It breaks the fellowship in the body of Christ when any one of us sin. We should also be accountable to our leaders. For every action, there’s a consequence. Another factor that obstructs us from being united is when some understand the truth and some don’t. How much are you willing to abide by God’s truth and obey His commands? Will you still go your own ways when God says ‘No’?

LOVE: 1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.”

God is pleased when we cherish these family ties. Loving those born in God’s family, despite their weaknesses and who they are, should come naturally. We show our love for God when we love His family.

Love,
Chantel.
