Proverbs 30:8-9:
"Give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say,'Who is the LORD?' And if I am so poor, I may steal and thus insult God's holy name."

Indeed, the happiest people I know are not the poorest people, or the richest. They are the people in the middle, the people who have enough, but not too much. They're happier because they have fewer resentments, fewer worries, fewer debts and fewer debtors. In short, they have fewer reasons to be angry. Let's ask God to give us enough for today.
