I Will Praise You

while i was at Melbourne, i managed to visit the Planetshakers church. i've gotta say that the whole church is so different. if u thud there was a big and massive crowd, be disappointed. their church service was like 1/10 of our regular YouthNet service. for once, worship time felt so awkward with 5songs that i've nvr heard before. sermon was no longer copy-listen-copy-listen...

but the sermon caught my attention.. it's supposed to be a verse in Psalms but i forgotten where it is exactly liao. heh (that's why Sporeans needa copy)

but i rmbed the verse goes smth like "i will praise the Lord everday... ... do not forget of His benefits... ..." i cant rmb the rest. paiseh guys

as i seeked the Lord for this phrase, the Lord spoke to me and the word "everyday" seemed so prominent suddenly. indeed, how many of us can say to our Father, "i will praise You EVERYDAY"? i cant, in fact it'll seem super troublesome.
but that is what the bible emphasizes so much. if u start frm Psalms 150 and flip towards Psalms 1, u'll realise that alot of the verses have the word "praise". and u know that when God repeats Himself 3 times in the bible, it means it's IMPT... try counting, "praise" appears more than 10 times.

a personal account of praise/worship to me: during the dec. holidays, i've decided to try out this "praise you everyday" thing every morning when i wake up. it's like praying and speakin in tongues. as i strummed my guitar and played my favourite praise/worship songs, i felt more awake. i knew my spirit-man was also increasing. it set the day really perfect. when i was bothered abt the world, i worshipped the Lord and a sense of peace and comfort jus came over me. it brought that joy and that spirit of surrender.

try doin this...
play a worship song and sing to it.
sing with ur Spirit
sing with ur Heart
sing with ur Soul
sing to the God you serve
sing with ur Love for Him.
He deserves it.. ..
whatever you do, don't hold back ur praise "

Jesus all i live to do, is to love you my God
i stand amazed captured by ur grace
let me sing ur praise and stand in awe of you"

-darren cheers..
