"Words have power unto life and death."

The words of God in Mark talks about the power of words spoken by Jesus when He saw the fig tree that bore no fruits. As scuh He cursed it.

The observant Apostle Peter pass the tree the next day and notice that the tree had dried up from the roots and withered.

He asked Jesus, look Rabbi. The tree You cursed yesterday has withered.
Jesus replied, if you have faith in your hearts you can say to this mountain be thrown into the sea and it will be done. If you confess and do not doubt there will be power.

From this passage we learn importantly 3 things.

1. Spoken words have power, the power to create and give life.
2. The power of faith in our hearts that do not doubt.
Words spoken must be accompanied by faith in our hearts.

3. Finally, words spoken in God and in accordance to His will, will come to pass.

Lets confess God's power in the situations that seems tough now and God's power will come to pass as we profess with our mouths and believe in our hearts. Amen.
