The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. - 2 Corinthians 10:4

Indeed the 5 stones that David held were not just stones. They were bullets of faith and victory that God gave to him that helped him slay Goliath. After hearing Ps Hee Guan's message on wed and as God revealed what my Goliaths were, i realised that our 'Goliaths' and our strongholds were identical or if not closely related.

A stronghold is a fortress of thoughts that controls and influences our attitudes. They color how we view certain situations, circumstances, or people. When these thoughts and activities become habitual, we allow a spiritual fortress to be built around us. We become so used to responding to the "voice" of that spirit, that its abode in us is secure. All of this happens on a subconscious level.

Like when faced with new challenges, most often we would be faced with a fear. A fear of the uncertainty. Then tat little voice in us would start to say to us "You cant do it!"' or "You are going to suffer!" or "You are going to mess things up!" Then we would just run away or avoid making tat decision tat would throw us into tat uncertainty. Feeling abit aprehensive of new challenges i guess is natural but it is how we face them tat makes the difference. Unless we break those strongholds or slay those Goliaths it will always block us from receiving that blessing from God.

The only way out of living under the curses of generational strongholds is to acknowledge them before the Father and repent of their reign in our lives. This breaks the curse's future effects. Then coupled with the new found faith and believe we face Goliath head on and slay it knowing that God is always with us and in Him we have the victory.

Even as i type this i am fearful. Apprehensive of the changes tat are coming, the decision tat i sense i would have to make tat would turn myu world upside down again. Things would get uncomfortable. But i know unless things change, unless i make tat decision, i wun be able to break out of this comfort cycle tats getting me nowhere.

Let's kill Goliath!!!! Chiong arh!!!!!!!!!
