Colossians 3:1-4

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

Note that the words used here, 'Keep seeking' and 'set your mind' are words used to depict action, things tat we must consciencely do and does not come naturally. How true it is tat we always allow things in our life to distract us, so much so that we forget abt our work for God and lose focus. When we keep trying to bring to order the things in our lives, we will find tat the harder we try, the more messy it seems to get. But as we surrender all those things to God and choose to focus on the things above, then our lives seems to begin to sort out.

Did some stock taking recently of my life. It hasn't been easy to focus on God's things. But it was clear that what i mentioned above really happened. In the months where i focused more on my work and neglected ministry and God, those were the times that my sales were the worse. And when i chose to let work go and focused on God and His work somehow my sales improved. So much so that i am now like the top adviser of my batch! How amazing are our God's ways!

And tats not all! God also provided financially for me in tat time. And for those who knows my pay isnt very stable. I had enough to pay for one semester of my bro's sch fees, help my dad out with the house mortgage, pay off some debts of my own, managed to save about 1.5k, spend on ministry and yet still buy my PDA! Wow! When i realised tat, i was really amazed and thankful.

But the one thing tat really blew my mind was during the recent Annual Planning Meeting (APM) my Synergy Group had in Malacca. All these while thou my colleagues are mostly non-christians, i chose to honour God for all the sales and the favour tat i got. Trust me it isnt easy to do so in the working world. Like what the bible says, tat as i chose to honour God, God will also honour me. I was labelled the "Holy Man'.. hahaha... uncomfortable at that time but looking back i am thankful for tat tag. In the whole trip God shielded me from getting drunk and being pulled into bad circumstances. And yet i was able to blend in with them and had loads of fun. Praise God! :)

So do not stop persuing God and keeping ur mind on His things. Coz when God is revealed in Glory, so will u. :)
