#14 Devotion ;)

1 Corinthians 9:19-23
"Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law i Became like one under the law(though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became the weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings."

The first thing that struck me after reading this was-- laying down my rights.

indeed we have so many rights.. the right to eat, the right to drink, to be angry, to want/demand etc.but since Jesus could so willingly lay down ALL HIS RIGHTS at the cross.. why cant we freely give up our rights just as we have freely received because of what He has done on the cross for us?

Just an encouragement to all;
the ministries that we are working in right now.. may be tough and sometimes we just get frustrated, irritated, grossed out etc.. but seriously, it all boils down to the sacrifices of our rights.

win win win!

joce.
